The Ecological Survey of Te Awanui

The Ecological Survey of Te Awanui project involved a broad scale intertidal survey of the Tauranga Harbour. Benthic sampling was conducted at numerous intertidal sites within the harbour with the aim to assess the health of macro faunal benthic communities. Trends in sediments, nutrients and contaminants were also investigated.
